New Year, New Me!

Hello and welcome to my page! For those that are new, welcome. To those who have known me for however long you do, welcome back, and thank you for your support! My name is Meaghan, but due to everyone always spelling it wrong, including my mother on my birth certificate (yep! just learned that fact recently), I prefer to go by Meg. The family is doing pretty good, Daisy is officially potty trained and is about to turn 2 years old! Olaf and Peri haven't changed much. Claire is this amazing teen who I sometimes want to strangle or throw out the window. I won't since she is my mini bestie and I love her, but the feelings are there. And you can't help how you feel right? lol. Ryan is amazing and I am very thankful to have him while navigating this thing called life. I have leveled up and am currently working on level 36. I am hoping to gain the "I'm Pregnant" reward this year, but who knows if that is in the cards.

We are finally in Virginia, but due to a big pothole (figuratively not literally), we ran into some problems and have been living in a hotel for almost two months now. If Ryan can get a job, (people say they are hiring, but he has only had 2 calls) then we can just buy a house and not have to deal with the hassle of trying to rent to yet another scum lord.

If you didn't notice already, I have a shop! It's new, which is why it is currently the second page. I promise it won't stay on the second page. It is just new and shiny! It is currently everything I have made (that looks good and not a complete noob made it).

I currently have 3 blankets I am working on. The one still for my bestie, Tabby. It seems to want to take forever and is a cute herringbone half-stitch. I am making a temperature blanket that is only one row a day and the color is based on the temperature is. I am doing it with my best friend, Nicky. The general manager at the hotel asked me to make her one and I am taking the opportunity to learn a new stitch. It is a crossed double crochet stitch and it looks super cool. After I am halfway done, I will be adding it as an option for the blankets in the shop.

I have a journal planner that I have been using since the first and minus a few tweaks, I have managed to complete every goal I have set. Including writing a blog. I do plan to write an entry once a week, and for those who actually read them, might even get a coupon code for the shop. Finish reading to find out! ;)

Since focusing on the present day and not the past or future, my stress has been doing much better and I think I will try and keep up what works. I think that's how it's supposed to work right?

My writing goals have kicked off with a good start, judging at how amazing this site looks right? Starting tomorrow, I will be adding time to work on either outlining The Withering Princess or editing Full Moon Magic one and two. Fun fact, when you buy things in the shop it will pay for my editor and/or my illustrator so I can get some of my projects even further in the finished and polished stage. Which is the step under published, which is another goal I hope to achieve this year. Fingers crossed!

Well, I think this is long enough and I think I touched on everything going on right now. Time for lunch and help Ryan apply for more jobs. All in a day's work, right?

Until Next Time,

Meg

P.S. I couldn't figure out how to add discounts, so until I do: Find the send me a message and tell me what my secret is for dealing with stress and what you want to purchase and we will figure out a way to incorporate it into your purchase. Thanks again for your support! <3
