Second Week of Camp NaNoWriMo

This week seemed way more productive than the last week. It started off slow, but by Wednesday things got a million times better.

Wednesday I got to see my therapist AND I took Claire to Guitar Center so we can get my guitar restrung and her ukelele better strings. While there, this beautiful electric guitar spoke out at me. If you didn't already know, on my Wiccan journey, I have been very big with things speaking to me. Sadly, I was unable to get it on my own. But I talked to Ryan about it and we made a deal that I would not spend another dime until the end of the year. (Or until I get my lawsuit money, but that is a totally different story). With that deal, he went ahead and bought it for me. I named her Samantha. If you have ever seen Frozen 2, you'd get the reference. If not, go watch it and join in on the inside joke. Claire even mentioned how the strap looks like Arendelle's flag, which I didn't even plan.

While last week's numbers could have been better, this week I at least brought my numbers up to be a bit higher and even passed my daily word goal. Sprints help but I keep forgetting to do them. Next week, I will do them until either my group gets sick of me or the sprints. Maybe both. Haha, just kidding. My group is amazing and they'd only just cheer me on or join in. Speaking of next week, I will have a new keyboard that Claire got me for Mother's Day. I can't wait to show it off next Saturday!

And lastly, my baby blanket that I have been doing every moment I am not busy working on my story. I have hit 20 inches. I struggled a bit because I kept having to frog a bit due to tangles, knotting, or something not working right. I am finally on my second roll of yarn and I am hoping I won't need a third. I am very hopeful that I will finish on time AND even have time to add a border on it. Please remember, this is a secret project and if you know Becca, DO NOT go and tell her all about this. I am looking forward to seeing her reaction when she opens it.

Until Next Time,

Meg
